Artist in the School - Jamie Oliviero visited Roland School for the week of April 7th to 11th.  Each class was able to spend time with him every day and benefitted not only from listening to his stories but also by participating in and eventually creating their own stories.  Jamie used his expressive voice, face, and hand gestures to weave his story magic in our classrooms.  His stories were highly interactive and the children were caught up in them. 

     Jamie 's stories reflected themes of respect,working together, friendship, and the importance of nature.
