THe world record walk is a 1 km walk that aims to create a culture of walking in Canada by starting a Walkolution.  Roland School participated in attempting to set a world record for the most people walking at the same time.    It was also part of Manitoba's Get In Motion, Resource conservation Manitoba, ,and Green Communities Canada.    So, on Oct. 3 at 11:30 AM we all went for a walk and walked 1 km around Roland.     We hope we were part of a World Record!!!!  Thank you to Mr. John Evans, principal St. Frances Xavier, for joining us on our walk and taking the pictures.   Also thank-you to Mrs. Mary Voth and Mrs. Brenda Whitehead, our fabulous substitute teachers!
